The Studio

Welcome to my studio!

Jen Isackson Photography is a Home Studio and operates out of my basement in the College Park neighbourhood.  I have 2 rooms dedicated to creating your treasured memories.  One room is devoted to my newborn photography and is FILLED with so many options for you to choose from (fabrics, colours and textures).  The second room I use for photographing families, sitters and my newborn prop work (the baby in buckets and tiny bed shots).  This gives me plenty of space to capture ALL your precious moments.

This space has been great but it isn't quite big enough for all the incredible things I've been planning.  That means BIG CHANGES are COMING in 2021!

This year at Jen Isackson Photography we will be breaking ground on a new 500 sq ft studio and I am just DYING to be in this incredible NEW space working with you lovely clients!

I can't give it the credit it deserves with just an explanation but I will do my best to help you envision my dream space...

The new studio will feature a lot more LIGHT!  A full wall of large windows will give me the option for natural light/lifestyle type sessions.  Picture your little one playing by some beautiful sheer curtains, in a corner that looks more like a home setting, rather than a studio.  This will include a bed with soft blankets and pillows as well as a chair by the window for lots of snuggles.  The space will be a gorgeous bright, white setting with a seating area for families and plenty of space for me to work.

I have already added MATERNITY sessions to my repotoire with a choice of greenhouse or studio portraits.  I'm am so excited about seeing those lovely baby bumps!

We are almost complete the design phase and hope to break ground late summer of this year.  That makes an estimate of Spring 2021 as an opening date.  I won't be able to start taking bookings for the new space until probably the new year of 2021 just to be sure it will be complete but if it isn't quite ready I can still capture gorgeous studio images in my current space.
