When morning sickness is something more

Today is HG Awareness Day!

Hyperemesis Gravidarum is a pregnancy complication that is characterized by severe nausea, vomiting, weight loss, and dehydration.

HG (hyperemesis gravidarum) is NOT morning sickness. There are so many questions still left unanswered as researches and doctors try to figure out why this illness affects 0.5-2% of pregnant women.

I am an HG survivor and I'm sharing my story in hopes it can help even one person suffering with this debilitating illness.

See my story here:

If you or someone you know is having a hard time coping with day to day activities due to pregnancy nausea, it may be something more than just morning sickness.
